Opportunity Description

Most opportunities for youth work exist in are in congregations in small cities or rural townships around Estonia. Congregations are looking for someone to create relationships with youth and develop/participate in youth programs throughout the year. English clubs or sports activities are often a successful avenue for formulating such relationships.

These positions are open to individuals, couples, families or teams of two.

Qualifications and Skills

Instruction in English language begins in 2nd grade and so motivation to practice is high among youth. Strictly speaking, applicants may not need to learn Estonian in order to succeed in this position. However, applicants will certainly find that opportunities to connect with youth, parents and ministry partners will grow markedly as familiarity with Estonian language and culture improves.
