Opportunities

New Charge Development Churches of the Church of Scotland are about mission and taking the Gospel to people in ways that make sense to them. Greenock, in the west end of Glasgow, is a former ship building area facing economic decline. We have been invited to send individuals, couples, and families to work in various aspects of ministry, including children, adult, and youth, bridging these new communities of faith with the needs of the surrounding community. There are exciting opportunities for expanding outreach as well as strengthening discipleship within the congregation.

Three connected Church of Scotland congregations in Cowie, Plean and Fallin want to advance the Gospel in their communities. They are currently engaging in outreach to children, youth and families and need help to improve and expand their efforts. This opportunity requires a person or couple with significant ministry experience who can initiate with sensitivity and celebrate every small step forward. These congregations serve villages with many challenges and many opportunities to demonstrate Christ’s love.
